It is one of Amy Lane’s less angsty books and I for one appreciate that she has provided another wonderful solidly written, easy love story. It didn’t take long at all before I was invested in Mallory, Tevyn, & Damian’s fight for their lives as they struggled to survive on the mountain. I typically don’t enjoy survival stories, but these characters just grabbed me and pulled me into their story. Without giving anything away, I loved how they solve their problems. I also liked how it was shown that the characters truly fit together. This wasn’t just a find love in a survival situation and end scene type of book. Through the story and their memories of the years passed, I was able to see how they had grown to know each other and how well they fit together as a couple. I am also very invested in Damian’
